Limit screen time with Rules

Champ Rules block the apps you pick on a schedule or after a daily limit. A rule is your apps plus a time, it always blocks, and Strict locks it so you can’t turn it off or change it while it’s on.

A rule is your apps plus a time

Pick the apps, pick when, and the rule blocks them for that stretch. There’s no reset to take while it runs. That’s the difference from a Guarded app, which opens after 30 seconds.

Start from a preset such as Wind Down or School hours. They fill in from your own bedtime and school times, so a rule takes a few taps.

By the clock or by the day

A Schedule blocks its apps for a window on the days you choose. A Daily limit lets you use them for a set number of minutes, then blocks them for the rest of the day.

Opens a day counts how often you get past the shield on your Guarded apps, and blocks them once you reach your number.

Strict, for the hours you mean it

Every rule blocks while it’s on. Strict is the extra step: turn it on and you can’t turn the rule off or change it until it ends.

Take a break and emergency access still open its apps, so a real need never costs you the whole setup.

Champ is free on iPhone and iPad: shield any apps you choose, thirty-second resets, no card needed.

Questions about rules

Are Rules free?

Yes. Rules, Strict included, are free, like everything else in Champ that guards your apps.

Can I turn a rule off early?

Yes, unless it’s Strict. A Strict rule can’t be turned off or changed while it’s on. Take a break and emergency access still open its apps.

How is a rule different from the 30-second reset?

The reset is for Guarded apps: finish it and the app opens. A rule doesn’t offer a reset. While it runs, its apps stay blocked.
