Guided Breathing Exercises

Champ includes six guided breathing techniques — box breathing, 4-7-8, the physiological sigh, coherent breathing, alternate-nostril and an energising pattern — each paced by an on-screen guide so you do not have to count.

Breathing is the fastest reset there is

It needs no setup, no audio, and no privacy. A single slow exhale is available in a queue, in a meeting, or standing in a lift — which is exactly where the reach for the phone tends to happen.

Six patterns, one visual pacer

Box breathing for steadying, 4-7-8 for winding down, the physiological sigh for the sharp end of stress, coherent breathing for a longer settle, alternate-nostril for focus, and an energising pattern for the morning. An expanding shape sets the pace so you can stop counting and just follow it.

Champ is free on iPhone — three shielded apps, thirty-second resets, no card needed.

Questions about breathing

Which breathing technique is best for anxiety?

The physiological sigh — a double inhale through the nose followed by a long exhale — is the fastest of the six, and 4-7-8 is the usual choice for winding down. Both are in the app with a visual pacer.

How long does a breathing reset take?

About thirty seconds for a reset, or a few minutes if you choose a full session.
